#Task "Failed to Obtain a License of Solidworks Task Scheduler"

I am running a SW 2017 Standard License and tried to use #Task to batch convert a bunch of .sldprt files to .step and I got the following error:

Failed to Obtain a License of Solidworks Task Scheduler

"Could not obtain a license for Solidworks Task Scheduler"

Does a Standard License not allow for #Task to perform it's functions properly? I have Solidworks Task Scheduler, albeit in a limited fashion.
