There are a few issues with SOLIDWORKS 2019 and the graphic architecture.
Look at some of the suggestions there. There will be some rectification with SP1
I went from 4-5 crashes a day in 2019 to (I think) zero or close to it on making this change (Select dynamic streaming) in Nvidia control panel. The crashes I had were similar - editing in context parts. The frame rate is also much better although the display is dull and flat - it definitely loses some image aesthetic quality with this setting but I guess thats the tradeoff. (Using an NVIDIA K2200)
Does the problem go away if you check the box to use Software OpenGL mode:
If so, this is a probably graphics driver problem and SOLIDWORKS has dropped the ball in listing the driver as certified. Contact your VAR and get an SPR.
