I especially like the 2 revolves and the 2 draft faces.

That is an excellent idea. John Stoltzfus, if you aren't too busy, could you branch Jerome De San Nicolás' post to the "Horror Museum"?

James Riddell Sep 6, 2018 9:47 AM (in response to Jerome De San Nicolás)Maybe that tree was a result of SWX Feature Recognition feature. That thing can produce some very horrific trees that are not able to be modified by any semi-logical thinking person. (Spock would be driven insane.)

Alex Lachance Sep 6, 2018 9:54 AM (in response to John Stoltzfus)lol, I know that too. I try to tell new employees to think like a guy on the floor so when you do operations split them apart.
Well some guy took that waaaay too literally. He would draw a plate of 48" x 120" then trim all the exceeding to make a square cap of 2" x 2". Luckily I caught it within the first day so it didn't take too long to fix but still...

Frederick Law Sep 6, 2018 10:01 AM (in response to Jerome De San Nicolás)I got an michelangelo.
He start everything with a rectangle block then remove material to shape he wants.
He took SolidWorks class in college. His instructor change job and work for my last employer.
Since the company work with local college on student projects, he came in.
Instructor recognize him. I got the job to convert it to sheet metal so it can be made.
He wasn't paying attention at class according to instructor.
It was a body armour.

BLUE LINES -
From this
TO This
When I started there were literally hundreds of parts like this and we had to check the DXF files from the Machine Centers to double check the Sketches and the Parts...
I know Design Checker can search parts for underdefined sketches. But, it is only available in Premium. I'm sure there's a macro out there that can catch them.

You may be right, but he (or she) still used 5 features when it could have been easily done with two. And here are two of my favorites issues:
- You can't help but admire the precision of the draft angle.
2. I've seen sketches before that weren't fully defined, but this takes the cake.
