I am trying to hatch this handle with dotted pattern. But it shows some error.
I want similar pattern.
You should be able to avoid this error by creating a split line on the face of the cylinder (Insert > Curve > Split Line) to cut the conical face into two faces.
How about sketching a rectangle (or converting entities) then with that highlighted select Area Hatch/Fill.. It will choose region.
Then you can select the hatch and play with the line thickness.
Also wanted to mention that this will have sketch relations (if you make it so) and update with the changes to the part.
In this screenshot I changed the length and added thickness to the sketch geometry.
Wow! That is a really great Idea. Many Thanks.
Did you try switching from boundary to region (as shown in Mr. Bacon's post).
Typin' from the hip, so...
I tried that.
Good thought Kevin but...
So looks like a sketch is necessary.
Can you design the same on 3D model?
Specs are: DIAMOND KNURL, 64 PITCH DIAGONAL, CLASS 1
