Spaceball -vs- Asteroid

I was reading an article about how John Hilton, the inventor of theSpaceball, went off on his own and created Spatial Freedom. He hasa device thats supposed to be the end all 3d controller. I emailedhim and asked about its fit with SW. At the time - a few months ago- the drivers where just being finished.

So has anyone tried out the Asteroid?

Larry,
Among other things, I review SolidWorks partner products in my blog. I reviewed the Astroid back in November. I've just recently reviewed 3Dconnexion's latest offerings (the SpaceNavigator and SpaceExplorer). You can check out the reviews here.
I still use the Astroid at home, but only because it isn't as feature laden as the SpacePilot I use at work.
