Sometimes when I open a SWX file this pop-up window is appearing. How to get rid of this window?
to get rid of the window got to the file location and remove the files....
I really do not suggest this but.....
go to your system options and turn off the auto recover under the backup/recover tab.
When you have auto-saved files, there will should be a tab here for them. Click on it to show the files and delete them.
Edit: See the comment below from Dan.

Yeah, not always.....sometimes I will get that message even though the little folder icon is not there. In SW 2015 the auto-save/recover doesn't work consistently.
What is the reason this option is there?

If you turn the option on, then Solidworks will auto-save every few minutes to the directory of your choice.
Then, if you happen to have a crash and you haven't manually saved in a while, you can still get to the auto saved version and might not have lost as much work as you thought you did.
Thank you for your explanation.
I have a short cut on the desktop that takes me to the file location for the auto save file location. Sometimes I like to see the difference in time between the auto save and the last save...and if there are many files there I find it easer to delete them from explorer.
also if you are not sure if you want the files or not...you can move them to another folder that you can go back to later.
The back up and auto save has been something that has saved me hours of rework when things are flowing and I forget to save, or when going back to a project and files have disappeared from the server...Keeping the files on the hard drive back up folder is a great thing and one of the first settings I make sure is set whenever I get a new version of SolidWorks or computer...
