Hi Graham,
We have noticed that a Windows Update has been pushing new drivers onto machines for the last couple days. You will definitely want to make sure your machine is still running the recommended driver here (Graphics Card Drivers | Hardware & System Requirements | SOLIDWORKS).
Otherwise, I do know that your machine has a low-powered secondary graphics card (Intel HD) in it. If this is in any way allowed to generate the graphics for SolidWorks the program will be sluggish. It is something you may wan to disable in your BIOS (disabling the setting for "Switchable Graphics" in the BIOS should do the trick). Just so you know doing this may require you change some other settings to get external monitors to work again.

The linked thread does have a decent work-around. So far, rolling back to the Solidworks Certified driver has worked for me so far. No more forced driver updates on my Precision 7510 with the Quadro M2000M video card. All other attempts to stifle the updates did not work. Also, simply re-installing the proper driver after the forced upgrade did not stop the automatic upgrade. Using the driver roll-back feature seems to do the trick. YMMV. Good luck!
latest driver will make your machine sluggish, i have the same experience
We have several customers that had similar issue.
If it's graphics problem, then Driver is definitely the solution. I also made on customer completely disabled Intel card in the device manager.
To prevent Windows 10 to automatically update your driver, it's here : (in french)
It prevents all update of your devices drivers but not Windows update.
Otherwise, we have one customer that has a "sluggish" and slow Dell 7510 but that doesn't seem to come from the graphic card.
It's performance test are very bad compare to what we are suppose to find (global 140sec or more). Even compare with other 7510 here : http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/shareyourscore.htm
If Graphic Driver doesn't solve you problem, we can share further information to find out the cause.
Solution to NOT update only the GPU driver (worked for me):
some of my students had the same problem and it was solved by going to the site of NVidia and installing a new driver

It would be worth checking that your machine is running using the Graphics card, rather than what we call 'Switchable Graphics'. This can be disabled in the BIOS boot menu.
