I would also add that you could potentially reset the selection by messing with the Windows Registry. This is not something I do unless it's an emergency, and even then I prefer the IT people to do it so use caution when modifying the registry if you go that route.

- Open regedit from the Windows "Start Menu"
- Go to
- Find your extension
- Delete the appropriate key which may be under either of the "Open With" folders or possibly in the "User Choice" folder

Yes, that's done the job. There was an item in the list called 'User Choice'. I've deleted it and everything now is as it should be.
