We have two issues going on today - the sorting of discussions and point tally's. These bugs were introduced during a "cloud update" by our vendor. They cannot tell me when it will be fixed.
Thanks for the update Richard
I hope you've thanked the vendor for the "update".
so it's a bug or bugs, not a spam - Glad to hear it !
This is why we should never trust a cloud, manned in many locations by guys that smile and say, "Trust me. You're sssuper secure."
Engineering Firm (EF), "Houston there is a problem. I can't access my data"
Houston, "We are aware of the problem caused by the cloud. It stops you from accessing your data"
EF, "Might you provide me my data in a different manner ....while your cloud has a problem?"
Houston, "We are aware of the problem caused by the cloud."
EF, "What is the problem you are experiencing so I can better understand why is it that I can't have access to my data."
Houston, "We are aware of your problem."
EF, "May I have my data? ... ... Please?"
OK, so not only is there a sorting "bug" (er, undocumented feature, to be PC) but now the 'current' threads under the General topic seem to be missing and in the few other groups I've checked out, when you scroll down to see 'new' threads up come the ones that were inscribed on clay tablets in cuneiform. And I can't read cuneiform.
So it's sort of like Jeopardy! We'll get the answer first and then see all the questions.
I didn't realize what you were talking about until I opened one of the questions and it was backward just like Jeopardy.
I see some improvement, there are now newer 'ancient' threads on the home section.
We're making progress! Now the Simulation group is screwed up on the first page as well. That will solve all those negative posts!
No worries we're soon "Heading for the Weekend"
All seriousness aside, in SW's defense, at least the 3 year old posts are above the 4 and 6 year old posts.
Is two major bugs in a row and luck of web page security not a reason to consider the change of current vendor?
Never a dull moment huh?
