Grey part icon in SimulationXpress

I received a part from my client where they performed some FEA using SimulationXpress. When I load SX, the fixtures and forces all have errors and when I go to edit those fixtures/forces, the part is invisible and I actually have to force-quit SolidWorks when it won't let me exit without selecting a fixture. The errors are all related to invalid geometry.

I have attached a screenshot of when I first load SX, showing all of the errors and the grey icon (with a check?). Also, I have attached a screenshot of when I select Start Over and remove all the previous SX settings. The simple gray icon can be seen here as well.

When I create a new part on my own and run SX, it works just fine and the icon is not grey.

Any help debugging this issue is highly appreciated!

Thanks,

James
