Re: Adding Design Library to PDM standard Vault
Christian Chu Apr 6, 2016 10:43 AM (in response to Shaodun Lin)I don't have migration tool and believe it's only available from VAR
What I want is to check in all the standard parts (no revision control) to Vault but instead of check in file by file, I want to move whole folders into the vault as PDM workgroup bulk check in

Re: Adding Design Library to PDM standard Vault
Jason Capriotti Apr 6, 2016 11:34 AM (in response to Christian Chu)Drag your design library folder into ePDM where you want it, right click the top folder and select check-in. You can check-in folders and sub-folders of files all at once.

Re: Adding Design Library to PDM standard Vault
Christian Chu Apr 6, 2016 1:40 PM (in response to Jason Capriotti)So the folders are automatically saved to the Vault, but files are not and you have to check files in?
Am I correct?
as I read from help
"You can use standard Windows techniques to move files and folders into the vault"

Re: Adding Design Library to PDM standard Vault
Jason Capriotti Apr 6, 2016 3:36 PM (in response to Christian Chu)Correct, folders do not have to be checked in, they are added automatically. You can right click on a folder and select "Check-in" but all its doing is finding all checked out files underneath it and its sub-folders and checking them in.
