Maybe I missed it but... is the SolidWorks 2015 plugin available for Visualize?
It is available, and it is not a plugin. You can download it from the same page in the Customer Portal that you download SOLIDWORKS from. It is a separate install, but it will use the same serial number that you use for SOLIDWORKS.
Also, just as an FYI, it's only available with with a Pro or Premium license, not with a Standard.
SOLIDWORKS Visualize is a standalone program which can be downloaded and ran if you have valid subscription service. To activate it just use your existing professional or premium serial numbe for SOLIDWORKS, which in turn will activate a standard flavour of Visualize.
hope this helps,
SOLIDWORK Visualize native importers support SOLIDWORKS 2008 -2016 parts and assembly files. The old SOLIDWORKS 2015 plugin is no longer required.
Please try importing your model via File > Import > Import Models and Parts

Thanks for the reply, my original question was worded quite poorly. What I meant to ask was.. is there a Visualize Pro 2016 plugin available for SolidWorks 2015? It appears that there is isn't and yes I have been using the direct import method into Visualize. On one hand the old plugin scheme was useful for on-the-fly imports however moving forward I will adjust (or evolve) my workflow to match the current process and technologies.
Not at this time, however there is a possibility of creating a SOLIDWORKS add-in for Visualize in future release.
