Hi all, I'm a recently retired USAF guy from Beale, now living in Roseville, and I'm ready to purchase a computer for my 2015 SW, running only that program on it.
However, I'm looking for advice on what I need for a BASIC/ENTRY level computer - I ONLY plan on opening existing drawings/files and rotating the image. I may also do some exporting, or other file-conversion stuff. So nothing heavy-duty like flow simulations, movement calculations, or the like...
What are my minimums? Most of the stuff I find online talk to top-end suggestions.
Michael, Thank you and congrats on your retirement! Are you looking to get a desktop (build or buy) or a laptop? It's a little over a year old, but there is a lot of information on this thread about computers and benchmarks with every component and how it affects SolidWorks performance.
