Let the macro starts with the SOLIDWORKS and keep running in the background and then trigger the macro to fill up the required property.
You'll have to use one of the event handler for drwwings. Look for swDrawingNotify_e Enumeration in API help files.
Thanks! I'll try that very soon and get with a feedback!!!
Sorry... how do I set a macro to run on the opening of solidworks...
Good! Things are looking great now!
Now I have a working macro to set the username as I want.
I could also make an event that react to a new drawing!
Thanks to you Deepak you gave me good clues to start my thing!!!
Thing only remainig thing is how I put that together. I tried just remakinf the Macro runnig into the events, but if I get things right (this is beyond my skills), macro run VBA into SolidWorks madules, while events in vb.net wich is another language...or so...
So now! How can I call the macro from my events?
I will get true this tomorrow: http://www.cadsharp.com/blog/equation-triggered-macros/
But if somebody knows an easy way, I would appreciate!!!
