I need to find Paricle Percentage calculation in Air filter product using Flow Simulation.
could you elaborate on the application?
are you asking if you can figure out how many particle a filter will stop in flow simulation?
I want to do flow analysis for Air filter dust collection.
Here I want to check if I send dust as 100 points in Inlet using (Particle Study ) ,how many particle can get in Outlet in terms of percentage.
I searched in Solidworks knowledge base, they explained there is an option in Particle Study - Statistics - See the points. But I could not able to understand it.
what don't you understand? set the particle injection size, material, velocity, location...etc
look at the "fate" of the particles to see where they end up
I have seen the fate results in Statistics . But there are Opening in 69 th point ,79 th point, etc.,
How to find the particle percentage in outlet using this below results..
number that went to opening/number that you sent
there is nothing specifically in the software that does it
In the above statistics fate results, how can i able to calculate particle percentage in outlet. Did you got my question.
1. Can I say outlet particle reached is 31% because ( 100-69 = 31).. Is it right.
2. Or continuous opening are reached at 79 so 21% has particle outlet....
Kindly explain the way to calculate the outlet percentage.
the trajectories are each particle that you're tracking
so it would be the first option if 31 of your particles go to an opening
