# Sine Vibration Analysis \$\$\$

Dear Guys,

Which do you feel is better method (among MTH, HA, RV & RSA) to perform Sine Vibration for 2.5 Hrs and Frequency Range: 8Hz to 440Hz.... !!!

Considering Acceleration...,

MTH/ TA : Time Vs g

HA : Hz Vs g

RV : PSD Vs Hz

RSA : Hz Vs g

Input is applied by 15min logarithmic sweep in (8-440)Hz band...!!!

assuming you only care about max response and that 2.5hrs is basically steady state operation at each frequency, the right choice is harmonic analysis

you can't, harmonic assumes steady state, what are you trying to take into account happening after 2.5hrs?

I would like to analyze Sine Vibration for 2.5 hrs to determine how the enclosing withstands....

If not Harmonic in which can we include these inputs of (g Vs Hz)....

what do you think will happen if you run it for 2.5hrs vs 1 hr?

the only study that takes TIME into effect is a time history analysis or nonlinear dynamic

followed by Sine vibration is the Thermal cycling...!!
