Re: Sine Vibration Analysis $$$
Jared Conway Jan 29, 2015 3:13 AM (in response to AJAY SELVAM)assuming you only care about max response and that 2.5hrs is basically steady state operation at each frequency, the right choice is harmonic analysis

AJAY SELVAM Jan 29, 2015 4:09 AM (in response to Jared Conway)Hi Jared,
How can we input 2.5hrs in Harmonic analysis... ?

Re: Sine Vibration Analysis $$$
Jared Conway Jan 30, 2015 7:43 PM (in response to AJAY SELVAM)you can't, harmonic assumes steady state, what are you trying to take into account happening after 2.5hrs?

Re: Sine Vibration Analysis $$$
AJAY SELVAM Feb 5, 2015 11:13 PM (in response to Jared Conway)Jared,
I would like to analyze Sine Vibration for 2.5 hrs to determine how the enclosing withstands....
If not Harmonic in which can we include these inputs of (g Vs Hz)....
Cheers

Re: Sine Vibration Analysis $$$
Jared Conway Feb 6, 2015 7:31 PM (in response to AJAY SELVAM)what do you think will happen if you run it for 2.5hrs vs 1 hr?
the only study that takes TIME into effect is a time history analysis or nonlinear dynamic

AJAY SELVAM Feb 8, 2015 11:39 PM (in response to Jared Conway)followed by Sine vibration is the Thermal cycling...!!

Jared Conway Feb 13, 2015 2:49 PM (in response to AJAY SELVAM)still not sure what you're trying to take into account here.
