I've made some tests and allways get a 2000x1200 mm sheet model size although I've set up the sheet size to 75x60 mm.
Is there any way to solve this?
When you say sheet size do you mean the drawing size OR sheet metal size?
How are you saving? What are your drawing units? What are the units for the Dxf file? I've a doubt that units in the Draftsight or other Dwg/Dxf editor you are using is increasing the scale by converting mm to in.
Can you attach the sample drawing file.
Units are in milimmeters.
I've set up the drawing sheet to 100x100 mm, but when I import it at Illustrator, the drawing sheet turns to 2000x1200 mm.
Please check the import units in Illustrator as in Draftsight, the file is OK. Also since there is no sheet format in your drawing, Illustrator might be using the default one. Add a sheet format in your drawing and then save as DXF. Finally check by importing/opening that DXF in Illustrator.
If I do it, I get the same dxf, it only adds a rectangle of the drawing sheet size.
Units are both (SW and AI) in mm.
Don't have Illustrator so I can't comment anything about that. Attach the drawing with the border here and someone with Illustrator may check that out.
I think it's a SW problem or an exporting dxf setup error because with my old software I'm doing this task fine.
Thank you Deepak.
Sorry, maybe a CS6 error. Previous versions worked fine.
