Save to PDF but check for Read-Only first

I use a customized version of one of Mr. Gupta's Save to PDF macros.  When I'm saving a drawing to PDF it can overwrite existing PDFs, but if the existing PDF is Read-Only, then the macro hangs and I have to shut down Solidworks via Task Manager>End Process.  Seems like it's getting hung up on the Save As flag that reads "This file is set to read-only.  Try again with a different file name."

Is there a way for the macro to acknowledge the flag and exit the routine, or should I be looking for a way to test for the existing file (and it's Read-Only status) before it even gets to the swDraw.SaveAs subroutine?
