Does solidworks have any issues displaying fullscreen with an ultrawide monitor? Looking at 21:9 monitors but not sure how solidworks would do. I haven't been able to find an answer to this here or with google.
I don´t think there is an issue with it if a graphic card can run the resolution that is supported by SOLIDWORKS. What is the resolution ?
2560X1080 and 3440x1440. I'll have a Quadro K2200 (I think is 3840 x 2160 max resolution) thats coming in my new workstation. Im trying to decide what to do for a monitor or monitors. I couldnt find anything solidworks specific but some games don't do well with the ultrawide monitors from what I've read.
Personally I do not like low vertical resolution. Because e.g. I want to see more of my Design tree without scrolling it. I´m working on 2x Dell 30" monitors with 2560x1600 I would not want to go down to 2560x1080. But if you are going for it make sure the card supports the resolution for the monitor.
I think you would be happier with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2560 x 1600.
The extra pixels in the y axis will be much appreciate while you are working.
