The "Insert Image" icon is grayed out, and clicking on the "Use advanced editor" text doesn't bring up the option to post a file. This started on Friday. I'm using Explorer, but I checked with Chrome and it's the same. Is anyone else seeing this?
You should now be able to attach images in all browsers.
Same here (Firefox 32.0.3).
Insert image is greyed out, no option to post file, but insert link and insert video seem to be normal.
Already raised the attachment issue and now I also see can't insert pictures.
Please report your issues here: SOLIDWORKS Forums - Open Issues and Enhancements.
Thank you Deepak,
I hadn't seen that, and I already sent a PM to Greg, so hopefully they'll get it figured out.
Actually the official new space to report forum issues is About the Forums
The link you show is to a blog Greg created.
I moved this discussion, and marked your answer as correct. I hated to take the points away from Deepak, since he has so few, but I felt it was the right thing to do.
I am un-marking Kelvin's answer as this is a specific issue I'd like to track here.
For those experiencing this issue please reply and list:
- Your browser and version.
- URL you are trying to create the reply (whether it's using the Inbox is what I'm trying to find out).
We have not been able to re-produce this.
I'm at home now, and I'm using Explorer 10 here, on a Windows8 laptop. It's been happening every time I try to post (including now on this Reply: Forum - can't insert files or pictures ) since sometime Friday. The same thing is happening at work on my new computer (specs on my profile), on both Explorer and Chrome (not sure which version of either, but I can find out tomorrow if you need to know).
I can confirm attaching files also works now. Thanks Greg!
It's working for me also. Thank you for getting it fixed.
I am seeing this issue using:
Firefox 32.0.3 on Win7 x64
