So I had a wing profile that I originally designed in SW2012 and it was generating around 400lbs of downforce at 60mph, warp ahead a couple years and a new version of the software and all of a sudden re-running the same simulation only results in about 140lbs of downforce. From the real world use 400 seems closer to reality than 140 but I've not built it based on a standard NACA model that has hard data behind it because of the wing's very low speed nature. So what changed? Was I accidentally getting believable results due to a code glitch in the older version and my simulation is actually setup completely wrong, or did something change that I cant see? I cant get access to 2012 to absolutely make sure that none of the setup inputs changed between the two.
