    Bump Pattern on a Surface

      Hey guys,


      I have a surface that I'm trying to "texture" by adding small revolved circles in spaced increments. Previously (in a less intensive example) I was able to generate hundreds of Face Curves, then create multiple 3D sketches comprised of dots placed at the intersection of the Face Curves, then use a sketch driven pattern to populate the surface with my revolved circle.


      As I now find myself with a larger surface requiring more dots, I find this method to be generally effective, but largely tedious. Is there a better way to do this?
