I am curious to know what others think of the best way to share a CAD file with a potential client. Meaning you want to send your 3d image to a potential client for approval. We tend to use 3d pdfs with photoview images attached, although the edrawings are really handy if the customer has edrawing installed. I just want to hear what others tend to use, and why.
Edrawing allows you to zip the file in a email under the send selection. I have not had any trouble yet with the zip file. It has a embeded executable file. Just sent and email to my self and opened it up the email on the slowest computer in the shop, and it worked. Another option was instead of emailing the file, I could email a link to a cloud folder this will allow them to save the link, and give room for multiple edrawings to quickly be added changed or worked with. No delay or blocking by emailing servers this way, and if I make sure to embed a executable with it the customer does not have to worry about much.
