Tools/Add-Ins and then check the Ansys boxes (normal or Start Up)under Other Add-Ins.
I seem to recall that I had some problems at one time where the Add-In didn't appear. I think I had to reinstall either SolidWorks or ANSYS, but I can't remember which one.
I do exactly as you showed. But in the 'Configure selected CAD interfaces' I get:
"Prerequisites ..... Configure Success
SW Workbench PlugIn ..... Not Configured"
And no addin in SW.
Any idea what could be wrong?
Could you figure this out?
I'm having the same issue
I know it's late as hell, but I was looking for the answer to this as well (for awhile) and this post helped me out at least with the problem I was having
How to integrate Ansys 16.2 student version with solidworks 2013 - GrabCAD
In short, it's a problem with the setup files for the add ins not being in the correct folders.
I have the same question and i dont know how to do it, although i have looked the link you posted.
could you help me ?
thank you very much
