I've got a few simulations to run and if I could get them done over night for the morning that would be great, just not sure how to do that.
Is there a queue function or an "automatic shutdown when finished" function?
have you tried "run all" or the task scheduler?
Yeah that's great. Just need to take a further look and see if it has an automatic shutdown (being green 'n' all that).
no autoshut down but the results should be saved.
Yeah, I tried setting up a task where it ran the "shutdown.exe" in system32 with the arguments "-s -t 0", but it wouldn't run it.
I don't imagine there's a way to run that exe from the task scheduler, but you can do it from the windows scheduler with the same exe and arguments. They should implement that!
from a custom task you shouldn't be limited to solidworks functionality so i'm surprised that didn't work. might want to connect with your reseller on that one.
Is there any way you could share your macro you used to run your different studies in series?
