Is there anyone know what casue the deformation in x direction(see the attachement)?
where is the force applied? can you show us the undeformed model, what is selected for the force and the force definition? i assume the other side is fixed completely?
to confirm it is actual movement, you might also want to check the X, Y and Z displacement plots. not just ures
I am assuming the force is at the tip of the beam in a downward direction. the load needs to be applied at the shear center or you will get twisting and offset strange-looking behavior at the end of the beam. You can calculate the location of the shear center using math from a mechanics of materials book (also known as "strength of materials"), or may find in mechanical handbooks. In solidworks, you can apply a load at the shear center using the 'remote load' option. hope that helps.
