I have all of my ECN files in a folder marked "Engineering Changes". Each ECN has an individual folder for it that contains an XML file (so the path to the XML file would be like "Vault\Engineering Changes\ECN 1101\ECN 1101.XML").
I am attempting to create a search card that will display either all XML files as a list or of the folders themselves, and have the folder data cards (and therefore columns) display information pulled from the data card of the XML file. To be honest I haven't really done much with search cards before, which is why I'm running into trouble.
1. I can't figure out how to have the search card display the XML files. On my search card I have the default values set to "Find Files: %.xml" and "Search Folder Path: Vault\Engineering Changes" yet it still just shows me a list of the ECN folders.
2. I don't know how to pull info from the data card of the XML file and display it in the folder card. If I figure this out, it should be easy enough to have the columns display the folder card data (Description, State, Date Approved/Completed, etc.) that comes from the file card.
Any help is appreciated!
