Peter Biggert Mar 26, 2012 5:43 PM (in response to Vince Wong)In the File Open dialog box highlight the drawing but before opening it, click on the References button. You can then select the renamed assembly file.
To have dismissed dialog boxes re-appear go to Tools->Options->Advanced and put a check mark next to the message(s) you want to be shown again.

Glenn Schroeder Mar 27, 2012 8:00 AM (in response to Vince Wong)You should also be able to use SolidWorks Explorer. Select the drawing, go the the References tab, RMB on the models listed, and choose Replace.
