Hi guys, I am having problems selecting blocks once I scale them past 0.1. I am having to move my mouse over the blocks frequently just to get a line to highlight. I've tried selection filters for blocks only but it didnt seem to want to select the point of the block sketch.
Cany anyone help
Hi Scott thanks for the link, I had a look at it and it addresses a different issue. The problem I'm having is, I can select the block from the feature tree and it brings up the dialogue box to scale it and rotate however once, I scale it to my desired size I cant seem to select the points or edges to add relations. Even with selection filters!

Can you post an image of this and your property manager.
I want to see if there is anything obvious to me that might be checked or unchecked.
Have you tried selecting the block from the feature manager?
The first image is the block inserted at its original size 500mm x 500mm.
I then scale it by 0.01 so its 5 x 5 and I can't select it anymore.
Just another note, the actual block I'm using is more complex than this example one.
Hi Scott I seem to have found a work around for now. Importing the block then right clicking on it and exploding it, reselect all the segments and make it a block again.
That's great, but why a block in a part?
Why not just create it in the sketch then save that to the design library.
I actually meant to say a block sketch sorry, it's of something I need to extrude out of my part.
No problem. While I have never inserted a block into a sketch before, it sounds
very similar to when you insert a library feature and you cannot alter it until you
select "disolve library feature" again RCing on it much like what you had to do.
