How close do you have to be zoomed in?
What font are you using? Century Gothic is the default font.
Did you udate the graphics driver when upgrading to SW2011?
Can you post a simple drawing to check on other machines? Just dimension a sketched line in a drawing ... no model required.
Yes its weird and even more weird when a different sketch in the same part behaves normally.
Zoomed in tight is the worst and zoomed out the least.
I am using default Century Gothic but Arial and other fonts do not make a difference.
Win 7 64bit, Nvidia Quadro FX 3800, driver is 18.104.22.16890 5/20/2010 (seems old to me but latest SW approved). Exact same thing happens on my laptop with SW2011.
- Only seems to be happening on part sketches NOT drawings (I have uploaded the part file)
- Definitely a new problem after converting the file to SW2011
- Appears to be a scaling issue of the bracket tails for dual dimensions only NOT the tails of L/R typed brackets
If someone can open this part on their machine it would tell me if is my hardware causing the problem or another SW bug.
Im having this same issue. Most of the parts we design have "small" dimensions, sub-millimeter to just a few inches and I run into this constantly. Did you ever find a solution or find out if it is a bug? I would love to fix this.
No I never found a solution to this. Its just another one of many bugs that's included for the first 7 months of every new release. Learned a good lesson though to never renew a service subscription until everyone else finds the bugs before I renew.
