To get the heat transfer rate through a body due to conduction only, I would set up the model with a surface defined inside your solid body. Then use Surface Parameters to get the heat transfer rate due to conduction.
For example, suppose you have a cylinder with outside radius of 2 and inside radius of 1. Create the solidworks model with two concentric cylinders, with a common radius of say 1.5. Do not merge the parts.
Then to get the heat transfer rate through the body, use Surface Parameters and select the mid radius surface of one cylinder.
