We have templates where I work and I am working on setting up my own templates. The main template is the .drwdot. I need to link the correct .slddrt files to it when it is open. How do i do this?
A drwdot is saved with the slddrt embedded in it. If you need to change it, you right click on the sheet feature in the feature manager tree and select properties from the pop up menu. After that you save the template as a drwdot

Especially this one: What's the difference between a sheet format and drawing template? as it may be of help for this issue.
Thank you for the information. I have made good progress with the formats. I need more information with the templates. I have the current that we are using but, I need to know how to remove and add formats to the selections for the template. I can go browse and find the one I want. I would like to remove the ones I am not using and add the ones that I am using to pop up as direct options and not have to browse for them. Can you help me on this?
If I understand your question, you set location in system options->File Locations->Document Templates. For formats File Locations->Sheet Formats
No, the template is directed to the format files directly. How do you change the referenced files?
Figured it out. Thank you all.

If one of the replies made this possible, then mark it as correct.
If not, add a reply of what the remedy was and mark your self correct.
This helps future searchers with this issue so they can see the remedy right after the OP.
Much more helpful than an "I got it!" reply at the end of the post.
