An assembly in SolidWorks (just like in the real world) must include parts.
Attach your *.sldprt files for the *.sldasm.
How are you going to manufacture this part?
The custom practice is to use only a cosmetic texture to represent the knurl.
If you are going to 3D print however, then you might want physical knurl.
Vote for SPR 37527: Cosmetic knurling command like cosmetic threads in SolidWorks for a chance at seeing this implemented in a future release.
Your assembly file shows noting. Assembly file is link with part files therefore assembly file along is useless.
