I got these two books, you guessed it, in 2010. I looked for them for SWx 2017 but notice they don't make either bibles anymore. Does anyone know why and do you have another book that can take the place of the bible books? TIA.
Hi all this new company I'm at is looking for an experienced SWx designer with buying experience. Hit my email up and I can fill you in on the details. email@example.com Pay depending on experience.
Hi all, have any of you ever seen this type of numbering scheme? I don't like it and I can't find a way to make this work in Solidworks. Is this possible? I'd like for the answer to be no but if this can be possible and still keep it's connectivity to the item bubbles and vice versa let me know how. If not no harm done and we'd be the better for…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Ruben, thank you for your attention. Not sure he'll go for that but that is a thought. I knew of the indention so lets see how this goes. I'm going to be meeting with another traveling engineer this month, he supposedly has his idea as well. I'll see how that goes.
Hi all, started at a new place. Unfortunately for me since my last place at Tyco, as Solidworks Admin, my PC had crashed and the only copies of the drafting standards that I had and had implemented there are lost along with that PC. I know this may sound taboo, but can anyone spare a copy of your company's drafting standard that I may use and…(Show moreShow less)
Hi all, it's my understanding, or maybe misunderstanding, but, we have Solidworks 2017. From what I understand Service Pack 5 is out. Well we're on SP0 and because we no longer have a service agreement with out local VAR they won't allow us access to upgrade to SP5. I was under the impression that once we had a license of Solidworks, say for…(Show moreShow less)
Hi all, thank you Tom for starting this group, and thank you Craig for carrying the torch as well. However I've yet to see anymore meetings scheduled and would like to see more. If either of you are unable to continue this group I wouldn't mind attempting to do so if that is ok with the 2 of you? I've emailed you both in the past and have never…(Show moreShow less)
Daniel, Thanks for your inquiry. I have probably been lax in checking my FWSWUG email. I'll attempt to improve on that, and please accept my apology for not replying. That said... I'm actually in the process of scheduling a meeting for some time in August. Stay tuned. I look forward to meeting you at our gathering. Cheers, Craig
Hi all here's a unit I worked on while I was working at Halliburton. I had to reverse engineer the trailer from Lufkin trailers and did most of the mast and rigging as well. The graphics department did us a solid and made an video animation out of the models we created.
Hi all, here is a project I got to work on at GDMS. Again it's cool how the graphics/advertisement dept took the models we made and used them to make a computer animation out of them. Although for the most part I worked on the fire protection system on this project I was able to touch most of this project in one way or another. Great project.…
This is wacked. I couldn't get my original profile updated due to email address conflict and others as well. But what's funny is I started this new profile and it grabbed everything I've done before as far as discussions and the users groups I've belonged to but, it didn't get any of the other activities, like my level and badges and stuff. It…(Show moreShow less)
