I want to take a part I have drawing in SW 2014 and scale it by the shrinkage factor that occurs when you cast a part in aluminum or brass. I know what those factors are respectively but when I select the part and use the Insert-Features-Scale command the part is WAY bigger than it should be. I am using an Excel spread sheet to confirm the dimensional change. I am scaling around the Origin. Part is pretty straight forward in shape and size. If there an explanation for SW's scaling factor?
