How would you split a continues single body in one point as to show where this edge band should be glued. I could only cut faces but not the body - not unless I cut it in two parts - the resulting cut should not change the number of bodies It should be still one body. There may be a sheet metal feature that would work but almost like it should be something simpler that I can't think of at the moment.
