I am using Solidworks 2022 SP5.0

Recently, I have been having trouble with grounding mates. Parts are jumping all over the place. Do you know how hard it is to find a #8 x .1875 set screw when it jumps all over the place? Established mates are reversing themselves. My models are saved to the planes of the drawing so why do we need grounding mates? How do I turn this feature off? The image shows a set
