Hi folks, can someone explain this behavior. I want to create a plane parallel to a reference plane and tangent to the face of a cylinder. I have posted this question in the Makers Forum as well.

The typical workflow does not yield the expected results, almost as if my Solidworks installation is broken.

I create a reference plane with a plane that intersects the long axis of my cylinder as First Reference.
