GOAL: delete old workflows no longer in use.

How can I best identify deleted items in a particular workflow? I'm tasked with cleaning up our vault after several vault consolidations. Workflows with items in them can't be deleted, even when the items have been deleted (not destroyed), they still reside in the SQL table.
