Is this a feature or an oversight?

When I hide parts in an assembly it changes the mass of the assembly

(when "include hidden bodies/components" is left un-selected)

but the centre of mass feature does not change position.

Crtl-Q does not update the COM after hiding parts.

Is there a way to get the COM to update in conjunction with the changed mass?
