HI, I have an assembly where I use an Excel BOM.

Some of my parts are different, but have the same description. 

For exemple, in my assembly, the screw 1 and the screw 2 are sometimes different, but sometimes the same screw.
The description of the screw is made out of the type of product and the length of the screw which are linked to global parameters.
