I got a .step file from a carpenter colleague from tekla because my client only wants step or parasolid files in his Solidworks model.

However, the step from tekla is ~100,000 kb and is itself made up of ~5700 other steps.
As a result, when I open the file, Solidworks reloads the 5700 parts one by one and it takes an incredible amount of time (between 15 and 30 minutes).
Is it possible to merge everything
