In the simpilist terms, I want to model rotating a lever to operate a hnge. I've designed a cam that contacts a hinged follower and used a cam follower mate. When the the cam rotates the hinge moves. This works when the cam axes hinge axes are parallel. In the attached model, the lever on the end, the shorter dimension, moves the hinged component.
