I haven't found much info on this, but I'm looking to set a component to "Exclude from BOM" by default, without having to edit component properties in the assembly level every time.

For context, I have a reference "fitting" I use to maintain stability between subassemblies where their joining feature is a pipe or fitting. This reference part is placed and mates/routes added to it, and then hidden
