I'm very, very new to Solidworks and I'm just learning the very basics. I created a cube and tried to add materials to see what it would look like but whatever I add doesn't seem to make any difference to the model. If I turn on RealView, the model just looks like the pic below. Gold, silver, steel, whatever you add, it looks the same.
