I have an assembly file containing 2 parts, one is some car body part and the other contains bodies representing weld beads. The weld bead solid bodies come pre-named with their respective weld IDs that I wish to preserve. 

In my assembly, I make configurations of the two parts to represent different stages of part assembly. I use the direct editing delete body commands then configure those in a
