I need to create a new part while I'm in an assembly. It's just a simple extruded disk, but It has complicated contours that need to match something in the assembly. That's why I am creating it in the assembly drawing. So when I drew the sketch (bottom left) and tried to cut-extrude it to be 1/4" thick... this is as far as I get. If I click on the green OK checkmark, my sketches and extrusions disappear!
