Hi All,
Here is a nice design problem for all the Solidworks Experts :)
I need to add a thickness to selected faces of a solid body. (NOT ALL FACES)
As far as I know, one can only add a thickness to a surface.
The only solution that I can think of is by adding a 0.0 mm offset to the faces that I want to thicken.
Adding a thickness to this created "offset", and then combining the bodies today.
Only problem with this, is that Solidworks makes a noticable segmentation between the two bodies.
I have attached an image below as reference.
Even when I combine, this segmentation (line) does not dissapear.
Does anyone know how to thicken a surface of a body and then combine it with the original body?
Thank you
Scott
