I have been using Solidworks for around 15 years but only for very basic things that I usually need to produce a flat pattern DXF file for cutting out on our CNC plasma. Most things I draw are just flat plates but occasionally I need to draw sheet metal parts such as square to rounds and very occasionally weldments. I keep up a subscription to maintain the latest version of AutoCad LT as I sometimes have to manipulate drawings that my customers send to me and I think it looks very unprofessional to have to go back to a customer requesting that they send you an earlier version of the file!
I have been approached by my AutoCad VAR to buy Fusion 360 as they tell me that it can do all that I need for only around £300 per year which is obviously a LOT less than Solidworks.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Fusion 360 or could offer some advice, it would be much appreciated.
