In my company, this has been a challenge, and still after years and years of discussion, its a manual process.  I have some ideas that I am going to try out, but wanted to ask the forum anyways...

How do you calculate bolt lengths and quantities for process piping, WITHOUT showing geometry for hardware. I want to order it, not show it. All of our assemblies end up in a plant layout and showing hardware
